Sofia Summer Cup
Join us for the Sofia Summer Cup, one of Bulgaria’s premier international youth soccer tournaments. Hosted in the nation’s capital, the competition includes boys’, girls’, and an open women’s category. Every summer, clubs from across Europe and beyond come to compete.
The Sofia Summer Cup was first organized in 2015. Previous tournaments have seen teams like Bulgaria’s CSKA, Levski, Slavia, Lokomotiv Plovdiv; Greece’s PAOK and Aris Thessaloniki; Serbia’s Crvena Zvezda and Partizan; Romania’s Steaua and Dinamo Bucharest; and Croatia’s Hajduk Split and Rijeka, among others. In 2023, we awarded prizes to 42 participating teams, while 56 players received recognition during the awards ceremony.
Regulations
Teams will be grouped and will play a single round-robin stage. The top teams in each group will face each other in the playoffs, while second-placed teams will compete against one another, and so forth.
The top three teams in every age group will receive trophies. Standout players will be recognized with individual awards in several categories. Every footballer will go home with a medal, certificate, or keepsake.
The price includes:
- Water to participants
- Transfer to the sport center
- Free accommodation for 1 coach
- Guide
- Free entrance to the stadium
- Free entrance to the opening ceremony and finals
The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 15 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 50% are transferred no later than - 5 days after registration.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 14 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 60 days before the tournament starts - 50% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- later than 14 days before the tournament starts - 100% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.

The approximate cost of a transfer from Sofia airport is 8 per person one way.

Registration fee is not refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
Arrival on the first day of the tournament is not possible
You may not choose your own accommodation
