Alijo Cup
We're excited to introduce the annual Alijó Cup, an international youth soccer tournament! Experience breathtaking mountain vistas, rivers, waterfalls, and the natural beauty of the quaint village of Alijó, located 130 kilometers from Porto. Expect top-notch organization, delicious cuisine, and competitive teams from Portugal and surrounding regions.
Regulations
The tournament kicks off with group stage matches on the first day, followed by playoffs based on the teams' standings in their respective groups.
Every participant will be awarded a medal. The top finishers in each age bracket will receive team trophies. Additionally, standout players will be recognized with individual awards.

The price includes:
- Water to participants
The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 60 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 50% are transferred no later than - 30 days after registration.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 15 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 15 days before the tournament starts - 50% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
The nearest airports to the venue: Porto airport.
The approximate cost of a transfer from Porto airport is 10 per person one way.

Registration fee is not refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
Arrival on the first day of the tournament is not possible
You may not choose your own accommodation
Although Alijó is a small mountain village, it's a paradise for those who cherish nature and stunning landscapes. Must-see viewpoints include Miradouro das Fragas Más and Miradouro Barragem do Tua, which offer spectacular views of the Tua River valley and the local dam and hydroelectric facility. If you're heading to Porto, with its splendid architecture, charming streets, shops, and squares, make sure to stop by Castelo de Guimarães along the way—the kids will love it!
