Trofeo Malgratense takes place at the stadiums of the quaint resort towns of Santa Susana, Calella, Malgrat, and Pineda de Mar, located along the Mediterranean coast from Barcelona to Tordera. Enjoy the charming and lively atmosphere of Catalonia's cities.
Trofeo Malgratense has a long history, and every year teams from various continents come to Spain to test their skills in the tournament. The 33rd edition of the tournament was held in 2018.
Regulations
The competition begins with the qualification stage, where teams compete in groups of 4 or 5. The top two teams from each group advance to the Playoffs. Teams that do not qualify play in consolation matches.
The winner receives five free spots for the following year's tournament. The top three teams in each age group are awarded the Big Cups. Other participants receive Small Cups, medals, and diplomas. The team that demonstrates the best sportsmanship is awarded the Fair Play prize. Organizers also present individual awards to the top scorers and goalkeepers in each age group.
The price includes:

- Free entrance to the stadium
- Free entrance to the opening ceremony and finals
- Free entrance to the disco
The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 43 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 500 are transferred no later than - 10 days after registration.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 42 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 90 days before the tournament starts - 40% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- later than 30 days before the tournament starts - 60% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- later than 10 days before the tournament starts - 90% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.

The approximate cost of a transfer from Girona airport is 18 per person one way.
The approximate cost of a transfer from Barcelona El Prat airport is 24 per person one way.
The approximate cost of all transfers from accommodation to the competition venues is 42 per person.

The registration fee is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
