Welcome to the Platres Youth Football Festival! Compete against squads from across Europe at the top-tier sports complex in the scenic village of Platres. Located at an altitude of 1,100 meters in the Troodos Mountains of Cyprus, this tournament offers the perfect summer conditions—with fresh mountain air and a comfortable climate, making it ideal for youth soccer competitions.
The Platres Cup has been held since 2013. Over the years, it has become one of the region’s most prestigious sports traditions, attracting clubs from all over the world. With a rich history of intense matchups, this tournament is highly anticipated every year.
Regulations
The competition is divided into different divisions based on skill level. The Eagles division is for top-tier squads, while the Tigers division is designed for beginner participants. After the group stage, all participants move on to the final knockout rounds.
Every participant will receive a commemorative medal. The top two teams in each category will be awarded trophies and medals, while semifinalists will receive special prizes.

The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 30 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 10% are transferred no later than - 7 days after registration.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 30 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 30 days before the tournament starts - 50% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- on the date tournament starts - 100% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.

The registration fee is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
Arrival on the first day of the tournament is not possible
Additional activities can be arranged upon request. We offer friendly matches and excursions to local attractions, including waterfalls, medieval monasteries, wineries, nature reserves, and farms. For those looking to relax by the sea, a trip to Limassol offers the chance to swim in the Mediterranean and explore the famous Limassol Castle.
