Platres Football Festival July

Discover the Platres Youth Football Festival and the opportunity to play against opponents from all over Europe at the Platres Village Sports Centre, located at an altitude of 1100 m in the Troodos Mountains in Cyprus. In summer, the temperature is comfortable and the mountain air is fresh, which is ideal for football competitions for children.
Platres Cup has been organised since 2013. This great history of opposing clubs from many countries is recognised as one of the most popular events in our region.
Regulations
There are several divisions of strength in each age group, from the very challenging Eagles competition to the beginner's games in the Tigers. For all teams there is a final round after the group stage where matches are played on a knock-out basis.
All participating teams will receive a team photo. Commemorative medals will be awarded to all children. In each age the teams from top two places will receive cups and medals, and those reaching the semi-finals will be awarded with individual prizes.

The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 30 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 10% are transferred no later than - 7 days after registration.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 30 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 30 days before the tournament starts - 50% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- on the date tournament starts - 100% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
The nearest airports to the venue: Ercan airport, Larnaca airport.

Registration fee is not refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
Arrival on the first day of the tournament is not possible
If you like, we can organise friendly games or excursions to local attractions: waterfalls, medieval monasteries, wineries, national nature reserves or farms. Plus, you can head to the coast in Limassol to swim in the sea and see the famous Limassol Castle.
