The UK International Cup is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring young soccer players to showcase their talent in a prestigious global tournament held at the state-of-the-art athletic complex of Loughborough University. Known for its elite sports programs, the university has been ranked the best in the world for sports for seven consecutive years.
The tournament was held for the fourth time in April 2023. Each year, a well-known soccer figure visits the event. One of the recent special guests was John Hartson, a former English Premier League player.
During the group stage, all teams play at least three or four matches. After that, participants are split: the top-placed squads in each group advance to the Cup Finals, while the remaining teams move on to compete in the Silver Plate Finals. In every age category, players born before August 31 of the older age year are eligible to participate.
The champion of the tournament takes home the main trophy, and all players on the winning squad receive gold medals. The second and third place teams are also awarded medals. Winners of the consolation final receive the Silver Plate. Every participant is given a medal for taking part in the competition.

The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 45 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 35% are transferred no later than - 190 days before the tournament.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 60 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 190 days before the tournament starts - 50% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- later than 60 days before the tournament starts - 100% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.

The approximate cost of a transfer from Birmingham airport is 40 € per person one way.
