The UK International Cup offers aspiring young footballers the chance to take part in a prestigious global tournament held at the state-of-the-art sports complex of Loughborough University. Renowned for its excellence, it has been recognised as the top university worldwide for sport for seven years running.
In April 2023, the tournament was held for the 4th time. Each tournament is visited by one of the famous football players. The previous interesting guest was former English Premier League player John Hartson.
Previously, all teams will play at least 3 or 4 group matches. Competitors are then divided into those advancing to the Cup Finals - the top-placed teams in the group - and those advancing to the Silver Plate Finals - the teams from the bottom of the group. In all age categories, participants born before August 31 of the year older are allowed to play.
The winner of the tournament takes away the cup of the tournament, plus the whole team will be awarded with gold medals. The second and third places are awarded with medals. The winners of the consolation final stage receive a Silver Plate. All participants are awarded medals for participation.

The price includes:
- Free entrance to the stadium
- Free entrance to the opening ceremony and finals
- Accommodation with full board
The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 45 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 35% are transferred no later than - 190 days before the tournament.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 60 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 190 days before the tournament starts - 50% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- later than 60 days before the tournament starts - 100% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.

The approximate cost of a transfer from Birmingham airport is 40 € per person one way.
The approximate cost of a transfer from East Midlands Airport is 35 € per person one way.

Loughborough offers great entertainment and family activities. Visit the Town Hall for shows, relax in Queen’s Park with its playground, or take a steam train ride on the nearby Great Central Railway. Kids will also enjoy the interactive Science Centre at Loughborough University. A perfect spot for fun and learning!
