Welcome to the Freixo Cup, an international soccer tournament for boys held in Portugal! The event takes place in Freixo de Espada à Cinta, a quaint village just a few miles from the Spanish border, nestled among mountains and stunning natural scenery. We are committed to providing a high-quality holiday and sporting experience. Your team will have the opportunity to take in the scenery from various lookout points and enjoy swimming in the pool or the nearby river.
Regulations
The competition kicks off with a preliminary group stage, where each team will face every other team in their group once. The tournament progresses to the final round on the second day, where teams will compete based on their rankings from the initial rounds.
Every participant will be awarded medals. The champion of the Freixo Cup in each age bracket will receive a trophy. Awards for the top scorer, best field player, and best goalkeeper include custom gifts.

The price includes:
- Water to participants
- Transfer to the sport center
The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 60 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 50% are transferred no later than - 30 days after registration.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 15 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 15 days before the tournament starts - 50% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
The nearest airports to the venue: Porto airport.
The approximate cost of a transfer from Porto airport is 10 per person one way.

The price includes :

The registration fee is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
You may not choose your own accommodation
The area surrounding the tournament offers numerous attractions, featuring breathtaking mountain views and the valleys of the Duero River. Participants can go for a swim in the river or sample wines at local vineyards. Just an hour’s drive away is Vale do Côa, a viewpoint and museum dedicated to ancient settlements.
