Welcome to the Freixo Cup international football tournament for boys in Portugal! It will take place in the village of Freixo de Espada à Cinta, a couple of kilometres from the Spanish border, surrounded by mountains and wonderful nature! We will do our best to make your holidays and sporting events at a high level. Your team will enjoy the views from observation decks, swimming in the pool or river.
Regulations
The tournament will begin with a group round. Each team will play once against all opponents from the group. On the second day the final round will be held, where all participants will get to, depending on the place taken.
All players will receive medals. The winner of the Freixo Cup in each age category receives a trophy. The top scorer, field player and goalkeeper are awarded with personalised gifts.

- Water to participants
- Transfer to the sport center
The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 60 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 50% are transferred no later than - 30 days after registration.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 15 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 15 days before the tournament starts - 50% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
The nearest airports to the venue: Porto airport.
The approximate cost of a transfer from Porto airport is 10 per person one way.

Registration fee is not refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
You may not choose your own accommodation
There are several places to explore in the surrounding area, with gorgeous views of the mountains and the Duero River valley. You can swim in the river or taste wines at local wineries. An hour's drive away is Vale do Côa, an observation deck and museum of ancient settlements.
