The Edinburgh Cup will welcome visitors with streets decked out and decorated specifically for the international arts festival and carnival. We invite you to the largest children's soccer tournament in the UK, drawing several thousand players from around the globe annually! The event is hosted at some of Scotland's premier sports facilities, including the national team's home stadium, Oriam. Edinburgh undergoes a transformation in August as circus performers, singers, painters, and theater actors take the stage throughout the city for the Arts Festival.
The tournament is organized to provide kids with a few enjoyable days of competition and to experience our beautiful city of Edinburgh. Teams of any skill level are welcome to participate in either amateur or professional divisions. The city boasts excellent transportation options. Whether arriving from the airport or train station, you can quickly and affordably reach the venue using public buses or trams.
Regulations
Festival participants will engage in a round-robin within their group. Teams will start off in group play, facing off against each other in a round-robin format. The top three finishers from each group will then advance to the Playoffs. The other teams will proceed to compete in the final B round. If there is a tie in the playoffs, the game's outcome will be decided by a penalty shootout.
Upon the conclusion of the event in each age group, all players will receive a commemorative medal. Those who make it to the tournament's final will also be awarded a distinctive trophy - the Edinburgh Cup. Teams that move on to the consolation final will vie for the Edinburgh Cup plate.

The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 307 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 10% are transferred no later than - 5 days after registration.
- 40% are transferred no later than - 120 days before the tournament.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 60 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 76 days before the tournament starts - 80% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- later than 44 days before the tournament starts - 90% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- later than 34 days before the tournament starts - 100% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.

Registration fee is not refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
Arrival on the first day of the tournament is not possible
The organizer charges an additional Participant's Fee for each participant of the team that chooses Own accommodation.
