Welcome to the Fébus Tournament, an exciting annual football competition for young players held in the scenic Ariège department of southwestern France, near Foix. This popular event brings together local clubs from Foix and nearby cities, as well as international competitors, creating a vibrant celebration of football talent.
The tournament's 19th edition was held in 2024, continuing a rich tradition that has attracted renowned national teams like Toulouse FC, Montpellier FC, and Nantes FC, along with international powerhouses such as FC Barcelona. Regulations
The competition kicks off with an initial group stage. The top two teams from each group advance to the Champions League group round, while the remaining squads compete in the Europa League round. From there, the best ones progress to the knockout phase. If a match in this phase ends in a draw, the winner is decided by a penalty shootout.
This tournament offers the chance to win both individual and team accolades. The champions will lift a prestigious trophy, while every player receives a medal or a commemorative prize to mark their achievement.
The price includes:
- Water to participants
- Free entrance to the stadium
- Free entrance to the opening ceremony and finals
The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 50 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 30% are transferred no later than - 5 days after registration.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 20 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 56 days before the tournament starts - 30% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- later than 42 days before the tournament starts - 50% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- later than 20 days before the tournament starts - 100% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
