Welcome to the Copa Melgueil - an international football tournament in France, in the town of Mauguio. It is located 10 km from the center of Montpellier - one of the most beautiful places in France and a couple of kilometers from the Mediterranean coast! With our competitions, we make our contribution to the economic and social development of the region, and also want to introduce guests to our beautiful seaside resort. And we hope that Copa Melgueil will become an example of an excellent organization, both in the sporting component and in the field of developing friendship between nations.
The tournament started for the first time in 2023. We are trying to instill in young people a healthy lifestyle, the importance of a cultural and tolerant attitude towards other people through the values of football.
Regulations
The competition will begin with the group stage. As for the final games, the top two participants in each group advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, while the bottom two advance to the quarter-finals of the Europa League. Ranking matches follow to determine the teams' final positions and ensure an equal number of games. In case of a tie at the end of regular time, a penalty shootout of 5 shots on goal is taken.
All teams will receive trophies at the awards ceremony, and each player and coach will receive a medal. We also charge a deposit of 200 euros from the delegation, which will be returned after the awards are presented.

The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 50 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 50% are transferred no later than - 48 days before the tournament.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 20 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 20 days before the tournament starts - 100% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.

The approximate cost of a transfer from Aéroport Marseille is 20 per person one way.

The organizer provides a full transfer service during the tournament. The approximately cost of a full transfer service during the tournament is 69 per person.

Registration fee is not refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

This is a stunning place for relaxing walks with breathtaking views of the city and mountains.
