The main attraction of Saronno is the magnificent church Santuario della Beata Vergine dei Miracoli, built in the 16th century. With its graceful bell tower and frescoed interiors, this church is considered a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture. Here you can see the works of the famous painter Gaudenzio Ferrari. Saronno is also well known for its Amaretto liqueur, which has been produced here since the 17th century. Visitors to the town can learn about the history of the creation of this famous drink and of course try it in one of the local cafes or restaurants.
