Discover Viareggio and the Trofeo della Befana football tournament for your team, pamper yourself with the warm Mediterranean climate at a time when it's cold and damp everywhere. And our participants will compete on natural grass and synthetic fields. The city is famous for its carnival, ancient marble quarries and historical center. For our guests we have selected the most comfortable hotels by the sea in Viareggio and Versilia. Just a few kilometers away are the extraordinarily beautiful cities of Lucca, Pisa and Florence.
The Trofeo della Befana tournament in 2021 was held for the 13th time. For such a long history, we have been visited by amateur and professional teams from Italy, France, Malta, Switzerland, Japan, Algeria and other countries.
Regulations
There is a group stage where all teams compete with each other and a Play Off stage where the first 2 places from each group are selected. The remaining teams will participate in matches to determine the final places.
All players will receive medals for participation. In the older age groups the first 4 places will be awarded with trophies and in all categories younger than B12, the trophies will be awarded to all participating teams.
The price includes:

- Free entrance to the opening ceremony and finals
- Player Injury Insurance
The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 20 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 1 500 are transferred no later than - 5 days after registration.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 20 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 30 days before the tournament starts - 30% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- later than 15 days before the tournament starts - 60% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- later than 5 days before the tournament starts - 100% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
The nearest airports to the venue: Pisa airport, Firenze airport.
The organizer provides a full transfer service during the tournament. The approximately cost of a full transfer service during the tournament is 60 per person.

Registration fee is not refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
You may not choose your own accommodation
In Viareggio, you should definitely see - the Villa of the Bourbons - now it is an art museum! There are a lot of amusement parks around, which will definitely appeal to children. For vivid sensations, you should go to Lucca and Pisa, the historical centers of which immerse you in the atmosphere of a movie. Florence is also an hour away and has amazing architecture and monuments!
