Granada is the soul of Andalusia, a place where Arab, Christian and Spanish cultures merge. Our main treasure is the Alhambra, a magnificent palace-fortress surrounded by the lush gardens of Generalife. Stroll through the historic Albaicín district, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and enjoy the sunset from the iconic San Nicolás Viewpoint. Don’t miss the Granada Cathedral, and adjacent to it, the Royal Chapel, where the revered Catholic Monarchs, Isabella I of Castile and Ferdinand II of Aragon, are buried.
