Umag Trophy
We invite your clubs to the landmark event in the football life of Croatia - Umag Trophy! This is a big football cup for Croatia and all its neighbors. Leading Italian, Austrian, Slovenian, Serbian and Croatian clubs meet in the spring to compete for a big challenge cup. You will not find a lot of "big" names here, but the level of organization of the competition, fields, accommodation conditions, stunning nature and the sea can easily compensate for this.
In 2022, the Umag Trophy international tournament was held for the seventh time. Several hundred clubs from all over Croatia, Slovenia and other countries. Among the most memorable teams were the football academies of the clubs Benfica, Juventus, Inter Milan.
Regulations
The first 2 days of the tournament, teams compete in the group stage. A group can have up to 8 teams. The number of groups is from 2 to 8. On the last day, participants play for the final places. The first 2 teams in each group advance to the 1/2, 1/4 or 1/8 finals (Golden Final). The rest of the teams continue to struggle in the Silver, Bronze and Fair finals.
All competition participants are awarded with medals. The four semi-finalists receive trophies. Winners in each age category will receive a temporary large Challenge Cup, permanently bearing the name of the winning club. The Fair-Play prize is awarded both in the team and in the individual category.
The price includes:
- Water to participants
- Free accommodation for 1 coach
- Free entrance to the stadium
- Free entrance to the opening ceremony and finals
The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 107 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 500 are transferred no later than - 5 days after registration.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 7 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 14 days before the tournament starts - 50% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- later than 5 days before the tournament starts - 100% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
The nearest airports to the venue: Portorož-Secovlje Airport.
The approximate cost of a transfer from Portorož-Secovlje Airport is 15 per person one way.

Registration fee is not refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
You may not choose your own accommodation
Umag is a small Croatian resort town located very close to the Slovenian border. Here is the well-preserved Old District, the walls of which date back to the 10th century. You can also rent a yacht, go diving or go karting. Not far from the town there is the oldest lighthouse in Croatia, part of which is rented out for tourists.
