Platres Summer Football Festival

We invite you to try your hand at the Platres summer football festival for children! Play against clubs from all over Europe at the renovated Platres Village Sports Centre, located high in the Troodos Mountains of Cyprus. Comfortable temperature, mineral springs, sea and fascinating nature - this is just what you need to participate in the tournament and relaxation. In the summer, several dozen teams from Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Italy gather here. You will be thrilled - join us!
Since 2013, we have been delighting local children with a professionally organized competition. Now the Platres Summer Festival has an international status and is one of the most significant football events in Cyprus!
Regulations
After the group round, all teams advance to the Playoffs. Here the loser is eliminated from the further “race”. In addition, at some ages there are different competitions by level: Eagles for the strongest and most titled clubs, Lions for the middles and Tigers only for beginner football players.
All children are awarded with commemorative medals. The finalists additionally will receive cups, and all semi-finalists will be awarded with special prizes.

The cost is specified with full board per person for specified number of nights. Applications from the teams are accepted no later than 30 days before the start of the tournament.
The team must pay for accommodation and meals expenses in the following order:
- 10% are transferred no later than - 7 days after registration.
- 100% are transferred no later than - 30 days before the tournament starts.
The penalty for cancellation of the team's participation is:
- later than 30 days before the tournament starts - 50% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
- on the date tournament starts - 100% of the full cost of food and accommodation expenses.
The nearest airports to the venue: Ercan airport, Larnaca airport.

Registration fee is not refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
Arrival on the first day of the tournament is not possible
There are friendly games or excursions to local attractions for your delegation on days free from games: monasteries, farms, zoos, very beautiful waterfalls, you can enjoy wine in our wine-growing region. The resort of Limassol is 20 kilometers away: go here to swim in the sea, look at medieval castles or have plenty of fun at the Fasouri water park.
