One of Europe’s largest tournaments, beloved by coaches for its convenient setup: all games are played at a single complex featuring 15 natural grass pitches located just 500 metres from the sea! The unique, multi-level competition structure keeps every squad striving for victory in each match.

Every year, around 400 teams from Greece, Israel, Cyprus, the UK, Jordan, Poland, Finland, Romania, Egypt, and many more countries participate, including prominent academies from Cyprus and Greece.

Tourists also adore the area’s stunning nature: Cavo Greco National Park enchants visitors with its coastline of tunnels, caves, and rocky bridges. Scuba divers from around the world flock here to explore underwater caves and other breathtaking sites.

2. Santa Ponsa Cup

Location: Santa Ponsa, Mallorca, Spain

Set along picturesque beaches lined with water parks, this tournament is perfect for footballers and their families. Known for attracting big names, the 2025 edition will feature academies such as Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Bologna, Mallorca, Parma, Villarreal, Manchester City, and Valencia.

Only the top 16 squads will progress from the qualification round to the knockout stage.

Santa Ponsa, named after the ancient Roman city Sancta Pontia, boasts emerald waters, lush parks, and opportunities for boat trips to the Sa Dragonera Nature Reserve. For active fun, players can enjoy climbing courses and zipline parks nearby.

3. Leclerc Hesdin Cup

Location: Hesdin, France

Several European and French clubs will be taking part in this tournament. The organisers are proud of their club OHMF, founded in 1929, and are doing everything possible and impossible to make a terrific holiday for the children, thus passing on the club's tradition. All games will be played on natural turf pitches.

Among the participants are OHM Football, AS Montivilliers, USA Clichy, SC Abbeville, English club FC Bath, Belgian Royal Dottignies Sport Mouscron and others. No team will leave without prizes and all players will receive medals.

Plus, all the opponents have plenty matches to play for; everyone qualifies from the group and goes on to play in one of a couple new group rounds: the Champions League or the UEFA League, followed by Play Off games. Hesdin is a small, cosy town, with charming streets, squares, cathedrals and houses built in Flemish style at the turn of the 15th-16th centuries.

It has its own 16th century Notre Dame church, which took over 100 years to build. The variety of parks and nature reserves nearby will allow you to enjoy nature. About 30 kilometres away are the perfect beaches and the Channel, where you can go on a fascinating excursion with children.

4. Mediterranean Esei Cup

Location: Gandia, Spain

This tournament is set in the stunning Gandia, near Valencia, and is an intriguing sporting event suitable for many age groups. Organisers promise the participation of clubs from Spain, France, and Portugal. Confirmed teams already include Mostoles CF, AD Sporting Hortaleza, CD Canillas, UP Langreo, and others. All squads will advance from the group stage to either the Gold or Silver rounds. Additionally, all players will receive prizes, ranging from figurines to trophies and medals.

Gandia is known for its beautiful, expansive beach stretching for miles. The crystal-clear sea with a blue hue provides an idyllic setting for nature lovers. Visitors can also explore caves, visit orange groves, and discover the diversity of 15th-century palaces and cathedrals.

Be sure to visit the Ducal Palace of Gandia, which houses a fascinating collection of paintings and sculptures. Footballers will love exploring Cueva del Parpallo, a cave with an archaeological museum inside. For children, there’s also the wonderful Museu Faller of Gandia, showcasing specially crafted carnival dolls later burned during the festivities.

5. Salonica Soccer Cup

Place: Thessaloniki, Greece

Salonica Soccer Cup is held annually near Thessaloniki, attracting a diverse range of clubs, from amateur to professional. In past years, teams from France, Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Germany, and many other countries have participated. Organisers have chosen a fantastic sports complex where all age groups will play simultaneously on six natural grass pitches.

Thessaloniki offers a wealth of attractions: it’s one of the oldest settlements with hundreds of UNESCO World Heritage monuments from the Byzantine Empire and Roman times. Nearby, you’ll find the massive Waterland Aquapark and amusement Magic Park. Don’t miss the Olympic Museum of Thessaloniki, where you’ll find documents, awards, equipment, and personal belongings of medalists and participants from the first Olympic Games.

6. Soccer Stars Youth Festival

Place: Loutraki, Greece

This is one of the most wonderful places on the shores of the Gulf of Corinth with a variety of ancient sights and thermal springs with mineral water that flows here through water pipes. At your service is a cozy multi-sport base, on which several football fields have been built.

This event in Loutraki has been known since 2012: during this time it has been visited by such famous Greek and foreign academies as FC Arsenal Kiev, FCI Levadia Tallinn, FC Dynamo Moscow, AEK Athens, FC Olympiacos Volou, and others.

All players are guaranteed 4 games. At the base you can enjoy the aromas of tangerine, olive and pomegranate trees. Horses are also bred here and competitions in various sports held throughout the year.

A couple of kilometers away is the beach, and a little onward is the ancient city of Corinth. Here it will be interesting to see the ruins of the large fortress of Acrocorinth or the excavations of the Temple of Apollo. Another attraction of these places is the Corinth Canal, connecting the bay of the same name with the Saronic Gulf of the Aegean Sea.

7. Costa Daurada Easter Cup

Guests often include renowned clubs like FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sporting Lisbon, Queens Park Rangers, Atletico Madrid, and many more. Over 300 squads from dozens of countries come together here for a truly exhilarating experience. Every participant from the group stage advances to the finals.

Salou, known for its stunning sandy beaches and vibrant nightlife, is the perfect destination for footballers and families alike. If you love nature, don’t miss Parc Samà, a magical garden with lakes, grottoes, and bridges where wildlife roams freely. Another must-visit is Castell Monestir d’Escornalbou, a picturesque mountain castle offering breathtaking views.

8. Lady's Pink Cup

Place: Villeneuve-lès-Béziers, France

The following competition, that I recommend for girls, takes place across two locations: Villeneuve-lès-Béziers and Cers, in the Hérault region of southern France, just a few kilometres from the sea. Participants will compete on outstanding grass pitches with a multi-level game system, ensuring exciting matches for all teams. Every squad will be awarded trophies, while the footballers will receive medals!

The tournament’s proximity to Spain and Andorra attracts participants mostly from France and Spain, but organisers are committed to welcoming international clubs as well.

The Hérault region is traversed by the 200-kilometre-long Canal du Midi, offering tranquil scenery perfect for leisurely walks, cycling, or boat rides. Nearby lies the beautiful city of Béziers, brimming with architectural wonders from the Roman era. When it’s time to relax, head to the golden beaches for swimming and sunbathing.

9. Gallini Cup

Location: Pordenone, Italy

This an Italian tournamentestablished in 1999, is a top choice for leading European football schools. In 2025, confirmed participants include Dynamo Kiev, Empoli FC, Hellas Verona, Ferencvaros FK, Udinese Calcio, and more. The tournament structure ensures that all teams have the chance to advance to the final stage. Every participating squad will receive a Gallini Cup trophy, while winners are awarded medals, and individual prizes are given to standout footballers.

10. Mare Nostrum Cup Easter

Another tournament held in Salou, the Mare Nostrum Cup Easter, is perfect for those travelling from afar and seeking to participate in multiple exceptional events! Thousands of young footballers from dozens of countries join this annual competition, held at the Mediterranean Sport Village, one of Spain’s largest football complexes near the sea.

The top two teams from each group advance to the finals, while those that don’t still get a chance to play in a consolation match. Numerous prizes await both participants and winners. Salou is a hub of entertainment: relax on the beach, stroll along the promenade, admire fountains, and visit the old pirate fort Torre Vella de Salou.

Of course, no trip to Salou is complete without a visit to Port Aventura, one of Europe’s largest amusement parks. History enthusiasts should head to Tarragona to discover Roman ruins, including an ancient amphitheatre, necropolis, aqueduct, cathedrals, museums, and much more.
